To Chance is a fun top-down sock pattern. The sequel to By Chance socks. These are fraternal and you use a dice to determine which stitch pattern to work. No two socks are the same! If you don’t have a dice, then just google “roll a dice” instead.
The Pedal to the Heddle socks use the same stitch pattern as my shawl pattern, Heddle. A heddle is part of a weaving loom. The stitch pattern used looks like a woven fabric, but it’s created using knit, purl and basic lace eyelets. The woven pattern is used together with a smattering of mock cables and basic ribbing for a deceptively simple stitch pattern.
The Spring in Paris socks pattern is a homage to Paris with stitch patterns that are inspired by the Eiffel Tower. Walk along the Seine, visit the Louvre or enjoy the spring air by climbing the Eiffel Tower. Spring in Paris is worked from the toe up with a short row heel and mini heel flap for an improved fit.
Imagine wandering on the beach, combing for shells and sea glass. The waves are gently hitting the shore. Sea Comb evokes your steady footsteps followed by those quiet moments with the simple rib and cable pattern and the ‘sea’ of stocking stitch. Those quiet moments are reflected in the relaxing knitting process as the cable stitches are created with no cable needle and the strong heel is created with just increases and decreases.
