Petite Pavement

The Petite Pavement socks are a very simple knit and purl pattern but they use 3 colours of yarn to create an interesting effect. The small “blocks” are like tiny cobblestone blocks.

Shadow Dash

The Shadow Dash socks allow a bright colour to shine. You might be wondering why it isn’t a repeating pattern. That’s because the dots and dashes are Morse code, see if you can find the word “knit”.

Raindrop Reverie

The stitch pattern on the Raindrop Reverie Shawl evokes warm evening rain showers. The raindrops slide down the shawl and drip to the floor. That final drip represented by that long crocheted loop.

Moss Agate

Moss Agate is a great stash buster project. Moss Agate can make the most of small amounts of yarn. Worked in the round and using 2 colour moss stitch for pops of interest.

Thermial

Fancy knitting a sock that’s got a different construction? The Thermial socks start with the radial garter stitch on the foot, then working flat until the heel. The toe and heel are both created with increases and decreases.

Sea Comb

Imagine wandering on the beach, combing for shells and sea glass. The waves are gently hitting the shore. Sea Comb evokes your steady footsteps followed by those quiet moments with the simple rib and cable pattern and the ‘sea’ of stocking stitch.

Pedal to the Heddle

The Pedal to the Heddle socks use the same stitch pattern as my shawl pattern, Heddle. The stitch pattern used looks like a woven fabric.

To Chance

A fun top-down sock pattern. The sequel to By Chance socks. These are fraternal and you use a dice to determine which stitch pattern to work. No two socks are the same! If you don’t have a dice, then just google “roll a dice” instead.

Drift & Ebb

The Drift & Ebb cowl is worked in the round and the pattern is reminiscent of the surf hitting the shore. Drift & Ebb is an ideal pattern to try stranded knitting for the first time

Mackerel Skies

Mackerel skies are dappled with rows of small fleecy clouds, reminiscent of the scale pattern on a mackerel’s back. Worked from the top down with a band heel and gusset and a simple knit and purl pattern that creates an interesting pillowed effect.

Pordum

A lace crescent shawl with a stitch pattern that is reminiscent of thistles. Pordum is scalable. In other words, the pattern repeat can be worked any number of times, so you can work the pattern to the length that your yarn quantity will stretch to.

Autumn Fade

Embrace the changing of seasons. Autumn Fade starts with the green leaves of summer which gradually lose their leaves to the bare branches of winter.

Ropewalk

Ropewalk is a top-down sock with bands of texture reminiscent of ropes. In my part of the world, east coast of England, fishing and its paraphernalia are abundant. This sock is a gentle knit with an easy textured pattern at intermittent intervals for an interesting knit.

Aquill

Inspired by the English countryside and its flora. Aquill is scalable. In other words, the pattern repeat can be worked any number of times, so you can work the pattern to the length that your yarn quantity will stretch to.

Rockpool Star

A cute seaside-themed trainer sock using a 5 mini skein set. The waves are crashing onto the shore and the starfish are relaxing in their rockpools.

Falchion

Falchion is a corner-to-corner blanket. It is designed so that you can use any amount of yarn. With a simple chevron lace that is mirrored on each side and contrast cornerstones.

Blooming Marvellous

Celebrating Spring; Blooming Marvellous is a pair of toe-up socks with buds, sprouts and leaves to pay homage to the new starts of Spring.

All Butter

All butter shortbread. There’s nothing quite like a hot brew with a piece of shortbread on a winter’s eve. All Butter is a homage to this warm cosy treat with fork dimple shortbread texture and adorned with tartan ribbons.

Jetson

Jetson are a pair of stranded fingerless mitts. The mitts are knitted in the round and the main body is in a stranded pattern with purl welts at the cuff (reminiscent of ‘The Jetsons’ cartoon!).
