Lori's Twisty Bind Off

Lori’s Twisty Bind-Off is quite an easy one to work. It gives a decorative and elastic edge. Works well with 1 x 1 ribbing, moss stitch and twisted ribbing.

This can be adjusted for wider ribbing. See the bottom of the post for details.

Adjusting for other types of ribbing

If you want to work this bind off with a different type of ribbing, then it is simple to adjust.

If the next stitch is the same as the one as just worked, e.g. knit stitch, followed by another knit stitch; then just bind off as normal.

If the next stitch is changing then if it is changing to a purl, rotate anti-clockwise and if it is a knit stitch, then rotate clockwise.
