The designer behind hardybarn designs is Jo Shaw. Jo has textiles in her genes. She lives in England and many generations of her family have been in the textile trade, including her father who was a successful Nottingham lace designer.
Jo has a Level 3 City and Guilds Hand Knit Textiles and can often be found teaching knitting workshops.
I have attended some of Jo’s classes and knitted many of her designs. She is so patient and understanding and an excellent teacher. Her designs are second to none in both clarity, practicality and creativity. Wonderful!
